"King of the Hill", addresses all aspects of puck protection and checking skills. On the whistle, three players (all with a puck), chaos inside a face-off circle and must attempt to knock out the opponents' pucks while maintaining control of their own. If a players' puck is knocked outside of the circle the player immediately exits the circle and goes to the end of the line. The first player in line then jumps into the drill with a puck. The drill is continuous and always has three active players per circle.

Checking: Aggressive sticks on the ice and on the opponents puck. Anticpate and check unpredictably to catch the opponent off guard. Avoid over committing to the check and losing your own puck.
