"Landslide" has four players actively working at all times. On the whistle four players begin at the same time and must touch the blue line (skates) prior to their cross and drop. The key on the cross and drop is to set the puck early. In the neutral zone, the head must be up and reading the speed and positioning of the player moving the opposite direction. Be very strict with the shooting protocols. The first player into the offensive zone quick release shoots while the second must cross the "royal road" and release. This creates the appropriate stagger and allows the goaltender to play both shots.
