In general, if you’re connecting over Wi-Fi and experiencing constant rebuffering or other issues during playback, try moving your router to another location and away from other devices that may cause electrical interference.
"Screwy Louie Tug A War", forces players to work on center of gravity, balance, coordination and edge control. On the whistle players begin in a tug a war with only one hand on a shared stick. The goal is to pull your opponent off balance. After fifteen seconds, the coach blows the whistle and players rest. Ensure players are not close to the boards for safety purposes. Also, implement a no let go rule!! This means the stick is not to be let go during the battles.
Teaching Points
Skating: Attempt to stay weighted in Zone 2 within the "Maloney Skate Index". Weaker skaters will have a tendency to be on their heals. Change directions and rotate the torso. Power is generated in the legs and hips. Attempt to keep the head up and upright posture.
